Work continues at Elm Road Crossing, March

On Sunday, July 19th, we were back out at Elm Road Crossing carrying on the work to repair the fencing around the Level Crossing and make it look much better for all. We erected new fencing on the North side of the crossing and painted it in undercoat, ready to be painted in Gloss later. Some photos from the day are below:

Discussions carry on, while painting carries on...
Painting the fencing, and starting to look quite smart.
Everything comes to a halt as the heavens open!

Our Chairman sent to Gloss the South Side of the crossing

We couldn't do all these things without the help of our volunteer members. We currently have two active areas of the Railway, the Marketing group and the Track Working group. The marketing group cover the advertising and fundraising activities, while the track working group do a lot of vegetation clearance and work to make the railway look better. We value all our volunteers, no matter how much time they can give, and if you would like to get involved, please let us know.
