Civil Engineering Dept (Tangerine Team)

Waldersea Yard

Due to bad weather on Saturday 19th February, the 'Tangerine Team' of the Civil Engineers Department, were again in action at Waldersea, on Sunday 20th, and discovered a few sleepers covered by brambles. These were then retrieved ready for a siding that is planned for Waldersea. The name 'Tangerine Team' came from an idea suggested by one of the Essex members while taking a photo.

In a matter of some 5 hours, there sure was some difference in the clean-up that took place, with plenty of banter between us, and we all enjoyed the work. It would be nice to see more members helping, rather than waiting until the work is done, then coming along to enjoy the fruits of our labour, as the saying goes.

There are currently three ways to get in touch, if you Would like to join in and they are the mobile phoe number, E-mail address, or better still, come along on a working day when we are there.
